The seed is Anti-oxidant, excellent cerebral and mental Tonic (Muqawwi-e- Dimaagh), Demulcent, Emollient, good Laxative (Mulayyin) highly Nutritive and Aphrodisiac (Muqawwi-e- bah). Used especially in the treatment of kidney stones, gallstones and constipation. Leaves are used in the treatment of diabetes. Its oil is used for the treatment of hair fall and dryness, itchiness, pimples and black heads of skin. Almonds play a major role in helping the brain, liver, nerves, heart and bones to function normally.
